Cardo and the global helmet manufacturer were the first to announce a new standards-based integrated solution.
LS2, one of the world’s largest helmet manufacturers of all types, has chosen to adopt the Universal Communication (UCS) standard which includes five new helmets that are UCS-ready and compatible with technology from Cardo Systems.
The specialized LS2 4x product can be added to the entire line of dual homologous ADVANT – a brand new model unveiled at EICMA – as well as the INFINITY II and INFINITY II Carbon helmets.
Developed by Cardo Systems, the LS2 4x connects up to four riders via Bluetooth for up to 1.2 km/0.75 miles, features JBL Sound, Natural Voice Activity, and OBi, and complete Completely waterproof. This compact unit also boasts Bluetooth auto-reconnect, so riders can drive their rides without worrying about connectivity issues.
The UCS standard gives motorcyclists the freedom to choose, change and replace communication devices without compromising fit and appearance. In the same way that Automakers and car stereo manufacturers have adopted popular car stereo mounts and sizes (Standard DIN/Double DIN), Communication Solutions Globally standardizes the size and shape of the intercom, allowing the fitment to be integrated into the new motorcycle helmet, in response to customer requirements. new ECE 22.06 standard.
